A suite of single-component, low-viscosity polyurethane formulations (formerly known as Terra-Lok) with excellent soil permeation qualities. The closed-cell foam encapsulates loose soils to form a solid, water-tight barrier, stopping water intrusion and increasing load bearing capacities.
The Single Component grouts are moisture activated systems that are used to stop water infiltration or exfiltration by sealing joints and cracks. They are also used as permeation grouts to stabilize non-cohesive soils by essentially gluing them together. The hydrophobic system can be injected with a variety of different types of pumps and in some cases is packaged in caulk tubes for small scale work. Reaction times are field adjustable by adding catalyst to the grout before injections to speed it up depending on your needs.
NCFI's Single-Component polyurethane products can fulfill a wide variety of geotechnical applications. A closed-cell foam system, it was specially formulated for permeation grouting and soil stabilization projects.
NCFI's Single Component products are NSF-61 Certified making them safe for use near a potable water source. The cured product is inert and does not leach into the soil or groundwater.
The Single Component product line consists of both Hydrophobic and Hydrophilic systems that are moisture activated.
The systems can be installed with a variety of pumps and offer a small equipment footprint making it easier to use in difficult access sites.
Once cured, the foam is inert and built to withstand the test of time in challenging conditions.
