Charlie Lerman, The Grout Geek, Joins NCFI the Geotechnical Team

We are excited to welcome Charlie Lerman, aka “The Grout Geek,” as our new Product Line Manager for Single Component Polyurethanes and Western Territory Manager at NCFI Polyurethanes’ Geotechnical division. Charlie brings 22 years of extensive experience in polyurethanes, including 19 years on the manufacturing side. His notable previous affiliations include Alchatek, Avanti, and DeNeef. Although his primary expertise lies in single component product lines, he is also well-versed with our dual component systems.

Charlie’s role will be instrumental in building this market and helping expand our presence in the Western States. Residing in Tacoma, WA, he is renowned in the industry for his engaging “Grout Rants” on social media platforms like LinkedIn, where he shares insights on products and techniques. His profound knowledge and background will significantly contribute to the growth of our single component product line and the expansion of our Western States Territory.

Charlie’s diverse experience extends beyond the polyurethane industry. He served in the Navy as a submarine mechanic and recruiter, possesses 24 years of construction experience, and worked with a restoration contractor for five years while earning his bachelor’s degree in Business Management. With over nineteen years of specialization in leak seal and involvement with the International Concrete Repair Institute (ICRI) for over a decade, Charlie’s expertise is invaluable to our team.
